CHUCK VAN HAECKE
Chuck started working with the trio back in 2010, originally stepping in to fill in for a last minute workshop. The success of the workshop lead the leader Goh to start working with Chuck on different projects, including a benefit show organized by Goh. It was clear that Chuck's musical endeavors was in line with Sharp Three.
Chuck went to Berklee College of Music at the time Kai was there. The two never played together while in Boston, but the similar musical background, ensured that this rythm section played well together in no time. Chuck brings a fresh apprach to the music of Sharp Three, and has greatly help revamp the songs to a more Jazz style which Kai finds himself feeling right at home.
When not performing with the trio, Chuck is busy playing with other groups, and walking his show stopper dog, Odys.
